Episode 1
There is a fresh new look and format to Africa’s favourite reality show. Nzinga Qunta is back to present, and she’s joined by Milton Manhenje (from Series 1) to give the show a fun, interactive feel. In this opening episode, our 2 presenters take a look back at where we’ve come from, and then throw forward to where the show is headed.
Brenda, Coulibaly and Kitso also make a return to the show, this time they are “i‐Reporters”. It’s a brand new idea that sees these three heroes unearthing some compelling personal stories, armed only with a handicam and a desire to help people take charge of their lives.
The themes of the new series revolve around youth lifestyles, vulnerable children and PMTCT (Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission). The i‐Reporters must find characters back in their home countries who will help them explore these themes.
The show ends on a sad note as Milton and Nzinga say goodbye to a former contestant.
