Episode 10 – Synopsis
This week,
we explore true colours. Those many different shades of our personalities
that define who we are. What are the things that are
uniquely you and define you? For some people, it is
their clothes, haircut, car, or way of speaking. For
others, it is their ideas, sports, art or music.
This week we ask “Who
are you really and what are those things that can make
you feel vulnerable or strong? How do you deal with
the challenges life throws at you?”
Watch to see how the three
i-Reporters deal with what they discover about the
characters, because outward appearances may have nothing
to do with the more truthful inner feelings at the
very heart of each of them. Brenda, Kitso and Coulibaly get to explore the darker side of our characters’ personalities
and the side they are not always proud of, but which
influences and affects their life choices and decisions.
In Uganda, Barbara rises
to the occasion and is determined to finalise her campaign
plans. Music grows from within the team when they make
some hard-hitting beats with top hip-hop and raga artists.
Last week, we met Desiree for the first time, a headstrong young single mother
and dancer from Ivory Coast who has the talent and
wants to be at the top of her game. In this episode
we see her drawing up a game plan for her life and
future success – which way will it go?
Also look out for another
new face, Peo in Botswana, who has been fending for
herself after her parents died. She is a survivor –
with so much attitude! How will the determined Kitso deal with a gutsy young Peo who knows what she wants
and doesn’t always agree with him?
Watch this week’s show
and see how shades of creativity bring inspiration
and colour to life; ideas and plans grow into a reality,
and hard work pays off for Barbara, Desiree and Peo.
Young women rule when they are given the opportunity.
But the question is how will they fight for the opportunities
they want when the chips are down?
