Episode 13 – Synopsis
This is the last episode
of the season, where we say goodbye to our new friends
at Imagine Afrika, where we have seen all the characters
driven by hope and a quest for a better life and an
HIV-free future.
In this resolution episode
we chart the path of each of our thirteen characters
and see how far they have come; where it looks like
they are heading with their lives; and their reactions
to the challenges in their lives.
We resolve the stories
of our newer characters – Peo and Jacqui – as well
as find out how the three characters in Cote d’Ivoire
– Koffie, Desiree and Bolatch – fix their cash problem
and launch their most ambitious task of finally launching
an AIDS Campaign.
In the previous episode,
we saw Peo go on one of her tantrums and refuse to
see Kitso again, this after she had got all the paperwork
to get her ID. How does Kitso handle this? Will he
give in and forget about her, even though he is the
type of person who never lets anything stand in his
way.
And will HIV-positive
mother, Jacqui, give birth to an HIV-free baby and
show the efficacy of PMTCT as one of the ways we can
fight AIDS?
As we say goodbye, does
it look like we are seeing glimpses that we could well
be on the way to an HIV-free future, however slowly
we are moving?
We thank our viewers for
their support, suggestions and emails of encouragement.
The best way you can contribute to an HIV-free generation
is to volunteer your time and services at the numerous
organizations doing great work in your country and
community. We hope you do your part to make this an
HIV-free generation. Remember, it begins with YOU!!!
