Kitso Masi

Kitso was a contestant on Imagine Afrika II. He’s back as an i-Reporter - young, gifted and dynamic.

He was recently selected by the Junior Chamber International (JCI) as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World (TOYP) for 2009! The JCI TOYP programme formally recognises young people who excel in their chosen fields and exemplify the best attributes of the world's youth.

Kitso is the Programme Director of the South East District Youth Empowerment League (SEDYEL), in Botswana, and uses sports as a tool to educate young people.


Coulibaly Miniattieni

Age: 21
Country: Côte d’Ivoire

Coulibaly was a contestant on Imagine Afrika I.

This sharp young man is the youngest member of the i-Reporter Team and uses his wit and perspicacity to draw out and motivate his characters. He is a thinker and quickly understands how things work. Easy to work with, “Couli”, as he is affectionately called, loves having fun, but is not distracted by it. He is guided by purpose and imagines the possibilities!


Brenda Amongin

Age: 24
Country: Uganda

Brenda was a contestant on Imagine Afrika II and her team was based in South Africa. During the shooting of the Series Brenda disclosed her HIV-positive status to her team mates and to Africa.

She is living positively and in Series III mentors other positive young women as they journey to the core with her. She is confident and probing, yet gentle and sensitive with a quiet strength. Her favourite quote is “The earth is but one country and mankind is its citizens”.

Brenda has a BA in Community Psychology from Makerere University in Uganda. She loves people, especially working with children, and tutors people on how to work with children.


“The Doc” Allan Roy Sekeitto

Age: 23
Countries: Uganda and South Africa

Allan Roy was born in Botswana of Ugandan parents and spent his formative years in South Africa. He was a contestant on the first series of Imagine Afrika, representing his homeland Uganda. Currently a fifth year medical student at the University of Limpopo Medunsa campus in South Africa, Allan Roy aims to specialize in public health - health systems management and policy - to play his part in changing the face of healthcare in Africa. He is very active in student affairs at his university and is the president of the 2010 portfolio committee.

Allan Roy is driven, focused and works hard to concretise his dreams. He is a proud Imagine Afrika ambassador living the possibilities of “It Begins with YOU!”

He journeys back to Uganda with Brenda and supports her on her quests to unpack the work of PMTCT programmes in Uganda. Together they visit clinics, hospitals and explore the options available to pregnant women, who are also HIV-positive.
